Satanta seventh grader Mackenzie York has successfully completed her FCCLA Hygiene Heroes project (in partnership with NHS), and she is ready to share the items that were donated by Satanta students in grades 6-12.
She will host a giveaway event on Friday, December 19 at the Satanta High School Care Closet beginning at 5:00 p.m. Each family in need will be allowed to fill a bag with items such as soap, shampoo, and deodorant and shop our collection of gently used clothing including coats.
All Satanta Jr.-Sr. High School students will enjoy a pizza party for lunch on the 19th as reward for their generosity, which will follow the delivery of 400 Christmas gifts to all homes in Satanta. Be on the lookout for school vehicles making the rounds on Friday morning.

The Satanta High School Scholars' Bowl team placed second at Garden City High School on Thursday, December 11 after being bested by Hays High School by a score of 50-60 in the final round of the evening.
