Propósito: Este curso está diseñado para fortalecer las habilidades de lectura, escritura, expresión oral y comprensión auditiva en inglés de los adultos que están aprendiendo el idioma. Un mejor dominio del inglés puede ayudar a los participantes a tener éxito en el trabajo, continuar sus estudios y acceder a nuevas oportunidades.

Reuniones de la clase: Las clases se llevarán a cabo los lunes a las 6:00 p. m. en la biblioteca de Satanta High School. Cada sesión durará al menos una hora y el curso incluirá 12 sesiones. Se podría ofrecer cuidado infantil si hay suficiente demanda. El calendario completo aparece a continuación.
Cupo de la clase: La inscripción está limitada a 12 estudiantes. Se dará preferencia a los empleados de Satanta District Hospital y a los adultos que tengan hijos inscritos en el sistema escolar USD 507.
Cuotas: USD 507 y Satanta District Hospital compartirán el costo del curso. Los participantes deberán entregar un depósito de $50 en la primera reunión de la clase para garantizar su inscripción. Se prefiere un cheque a nombre de USD 507. El depósito se devolverá a quienes completen el curso. Quienes no completen el curso perderán el depósito.
Materiales: Satanta District Hospital proporcionará gratuitamente todos los materiales del curso.

Satanta High School’s Event Planning Management class, NHS, and FCCLA are hosting a community benefit breakfast in honor of Rylan Reece and in support of the Reece family of Pawnee Heights.
Monday, September 14
7:00–8:00 a.m.
Satanta Community Building
Breakfast burritos and muffins will be served, along with coffee generously provided by Sacred Grounds. The meal will be available for a freewill donation, and all proceeds will go directly to the Reece family. Everyone is welcome!
Our student organizers will need 26 dozen eggs for the breakfast. Monetary contributions of any amount would also be sincerely appreciated and will help cover the cost of the remaining breakfast supplies. Checks may be made payable to Satanta High School, and all donations are needed by September 8.

Celebrate Fall Homecoming with the Satanta High School Class of 2029!
The class invites you to enjoy a homemade Mexican food dinner on Friday, September 18, with serving beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The meal will feature beef enchiladas with green chile, rice and beans, chips and salsa, dessert, and bottled water. Plates are $12 each, with both dine-in and carryout options available.
