Congratulations to the SHS forensics team! Six students qualified for the state championship tournament, competing in a total of 14 events. Deacon advanced to the semifinal round, where he unofficially finished in 9th place. We are proud of these students and their coaches, Ryan Burrows and Janis Grover.

Congratulations to these kindergarteners who had perfect attendance in April!

Happy National Principals Day!
Today we recognize and celebrate two incredible leaders in USD 507—Dr. Carpenter and Mrs. Burrows.
Dr. Carpenter, in his first year, has already made a strong impact with his drive, organization, and commitment to excellence. His leadership is setting a positive tone and moving his building forward in meaningful ways.
Mrs. Burrows continues to go above and beyond in her dual role as both principal and superintendent. Her dedication, steady leadership, and care for students, staff, and the entire district truly make a difference every day.
We are grateful for both of you and the leadership you bring to USD 507. Thank you for all that you do!

A few more pictures of our Earth Day extravaganza!

To celebrate Earth Day, our district came together for a day of service, learning, and fun! We started by picking up trash around Satanta. Then the high school and junior high students led grade school students in hands-on activities to teach students about the environment. We enjoyed lunch and recess together, played games, and ended the day with dirt and worms. It took a lot of work to pull this off. A huge shoutout to our Leader in Me culture team for organizing the day. Thank you also to the Haskell County Coalition for loaning us the inflatable games!

May menu--it's possible there could be some changes to this menu.
