Welcome back to school! The SGS Open House is tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. The 6th Grade Open House is tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. School begins Wednesday, August 20, with a half day for students in K-12. Students will be dismissed at noon with no lunch served. PreK students begin Thursday, August 21. Class splits for PreK and 2nd grade are posted on the SGS doors. We can't wait to see everyone back in our buildings!

In June, the SGS library suffered a water leak. Putting it back together has definitely been a collective effort. Thank you to Luisa, Mayra, Lori, Brent, Leanne, Moriah, Ed, Clay, James, Shane, Terri, Garrett, Ryan, and Suzie for all of your hard work clearing the room and putting it back together. A special thanks to Suzie whose expertise ensured that our library is organized, functional, and welcoming. We can't wait to open our doors to students in just a couple of weeks!
USD 507 Board of Education will hold a policy committee meeting at 6:30 p.m. and a BOE meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11.
