We will serve a Thanksgiving feast for our students and families on Thursday, November 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We would love to have you join us on this day to eat lunch with your child. We will start serving the Kindergarten students at 11:00 and will work our way to 5th grade. Junior high and high school students will be bussed over to eat at 11:40. If you have students in both buildings and would like them to eat together, please notify the high school of your plans. Junior high and high school students can be picked up and signed out by a parent. Please purchase tickets in the grade school office before the meal or bring exact change or a check. The cost for guests is $6 per meal. We hope you will be able to join us!

Congratulations to Morgan Pendergraft, who was recognized by Haskell County Rotary Club as Student of the Month. Morgan was honored for being actively involved in school activities, going above and beyond teacher expectations in class, and acting as a responsible and respectful role model for younger students. Morgan demonstrated resilience by overcoming an injury last year. Thank you to Haskell County Rotary Club for recognizing Satanta students!

USD 507 district paraprofessional Lori Zimmerman has been selected Staff Member of the Month at the Satanta Jr/Sr High School. Mrs. Zimmerman joined our team in August, and her ability to work with both students and staff has benefited everyone in the building. Staff members who voted for her noted her positive attitude and her willingness to help wherever help is needed, which has included organizing the care closet and supervising the concession stand. Please join us in recognizing Mrs. Zimmerman. Our building is fortunate to have her!
