🌿🐒 Kindergarten Jungle Crawl! 🐒🌿
Our kindergarteners got to crawl, jump, stretch, and move as we brought the Jungle Crawl book to life! 📖🦁🌴
Movement is such an important part of early childhood development, and crawling is especially beneficial for building coordination, balance, strength, and body awareness. ❤️
Learning doesn’t always mean sitting still—sometimes we learn best when we move, explore, and have fun! 🐾🌟
Today was Super Hero Day, and we had lots of kids who represented their heroes--including a large group of students who dressed as their parents!

We did it!
Thanks to the generosity and support of our entire community, Monday’s Benefit Breakfast was a tremendous success. We made 260 breakfast burritos and sold all but one dozen—just enough to feed the students who worked the breakfast.
On Friday, we will send a check to Pawnee Heights representing the generosity and compassion of the Satanta community.
This experience gave our students an opportunity to serve others, work together, and see firsthand what a caring community can accomplish. It also reminded us that a well-rounded education is about more than academics—it includes learning how to be a good human.

Fifth graders synergized to build the tallest tower during their Leader in Me lesson today!
The kindergarten class earned a potato chip party by having 10 days of perfect attendance! Each day a class has perfect attendance, they add a body part to Mr. Potato Head. Once they reach 10 days of perfect attendance, they earn a reward!
Jalynn Hockett taught the kindergarten class about the weather today. Jalynn installed a weather station on the grade school playground as part of his Eagle Scout project. He is a senior at SHS and spends one class period per day helping in the kindergarten classroom.
