To celebrate meeting goals, K-2 students played a giant game of tag and 3-5 students played a kickball tournament with the winning team taking on the teachers. (Teachers won!) Thank you to Kace Wenta for officiating the kickball tournament!

The USD 507 Board of Education meeting will be held at 5 p.m. tonight in the district office. The time change is to avoid a conflict with the junior high basketball games.

Congratulations to Natalie Dunn, the winner of the Haskell County Spelling Bee! She will represent Haskell County at the Sunflower State Spelling Bee in March.

Mark your calendars for PreK and Kindergarten Round-Up on March 24 from 5 to 6 p.m. Round-up will be come and go--stop by any time between 5 and 6 p.m. to drop off enrollment forms, meet teachers, and visit classrooms. Satanta High School Art Club will host a Taco Fundraising Meal at the February 5 junior high basketball games in Satanta. Serving will begin at 5:00 p.m. The meal will include two tacos, bottled water, and a dessert for $7.

Happy Kansas Day! Today 2nd graders created a collaborative poster and made homemade bread and butter.






Fifth grade Lighthouse Team members have started leading Leader in Me lessons for younger students. Today our 2nd graders practiced strategies for calming down.









Kindergarten finished up their farm unit by making their own bread and butter!

Due to road conditions and predicted wind chills, USD 507 will have a late start tomorrow (1-26-26). Classes begin at 10 a.m. No morning PreK.
