As you may now, from 2021-2024, summer learning was paid for through federal Covid funds. Those funds are no longer available, so we experimented this summer to offer summer learning on a smaller budget. Please let us know what you think!
Summer tutoring begins next week, Monday through Friday. If your student is enrolled, you should have gotten a message with their 30-minute time period. Let me know if you have questions. Right now, our plan is for kids to enter through the front doors. However, we are still working on the library, so that could change throughout the week. I will keep you posted.

Arts Attack begins next week! It will be held at SGS from 9 a.m. to noon for registered students. Students who are eating school breakfast can enter through the cafeteria doors. Students who are not eating breakfast can enter through the 5th grade doors.
We have lots of great kids' clothes and shoes set up in the grade school gym. Stop by during breakfast or lunch to pick up these free items!

USD 507 is hiring for the following positions, including an afterschool daycare provider. This position will begin mid-August, from approximately 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Applicants must be at least 16 and willing to complete a daycare training course. Responsibilities include assisting the childcare teacher, supervising children, building postiive relationships with children and families, adhering to procedures, and light cleaning. Satanta NHS to Host Red Cross Blood Drive
The Satanta National Honor Society will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 18, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Satanta High School Cafeteria, located at 100 Caddo Street, Satanta.
Appointments are now being scheduled. Donors can sign up by visiting www.redcrossblood.org, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, or contacting Ryan Burrows at 620-649-1767 or rburrows@usd507.org.
This event is a scholarship drive—each donation will help support scholarships for graduating Satanta NHS seniors. All donors will receive a $15 gift card and be entered for a chance to win a $7,000 prize.
