Here is January's menu! Have a great break. We'll see you on January 6!

So much spirit!

Santa! I know him!

Our Academic Student Lighthouse Team shared winter testing scores with students this morning. We showed lots of growth from fall to winter! Great job, TRIBE members!

It's been quite the week at SGS! The Grinch snuck in the building, stole items, and left clues scattered throughout the school. After a school-wide hunt, Officer Tiffany tracked him down and placed him under arrest on Tuesday.
But the story didn't end there! On Wednesday, the Grinch escaped from the Haskell County Jail!
Thankfully, the holiday spirit won out! The Grinch had a change of heart, returned everything he stole, and was forgiven by Santa and the SGS students--just in time for Christmas! 🎄

SGS celebrated a day of perfect attendance and meeting building-wide goals with a dance party and a yummy treat!

Poetry Slam. Students finished their CKLA unit with a poetry slam. They were able to choose an original written poem or one that was read during the unit, and they shared it with the class. Of course, we had to have our coffee shop sweet treats. Students did a great job and have learned so much about poetry.

Merry Christmas!

The kindergartners' gingerbread men went missing! After following a number of clues, they found where they were hiding and enjoyed a delicious treat!

Have you seen this Grinch? We stopped him before he stole any kindergarteners, but he did abscond with some Christmas decorations. If found, please return to Satanta Grade School.

These students read a William Allen White book this semester! Great job!

Thank you to the Haskell County Conservation District for sponsoring a poster contest for our students! Congratulations to our winners. In the 2nd and 3rd grade division, Aaliyah placed 2nd and Willow placed 1st. In the 4th and 5th grade division, Hector placed 2nd and Rylie placed 1st.
