Students must be 3 by September 1 to attend preschool. We have a limited number of spots in our preschool program. Priority will be given to students in this order:
In-district 4 year olds who are identified as at-risk or have an IEP
All other in-district 4 year olds
In-district 3 year olds who are identified as at-risk or have an IEP
All other in-district 3 year olds
Out-of-district 4 year olds
Out-of-district 3 years olds

Due to road conditions and predicted wind chills, USD 507 will have a late start tomorrow (1-26-26). Classes begin at 10 a.m. No morning PreK.
Due to the uncertainty of the snow forecast and the predicted wind chills, there will be no school for USD 507 tomorrow (Friday, January 23).
Congratulations to our spelling bee winners and participants! Natalie D was our champion; Amelia L was the runner-up; and Rylie placed 3rd. They will represent SGS at the county bee. Miranda is our alternate. The Haskell County Bee will be held February 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the SHS auditorium.

The SGS Spelling Bee will be held Wednesday, January 21, at 2:30 p.m. in the SGS gym. Families are invited to attend.

Our Academic Student Lighthouse Team shared winter testing scores with students this morning. We showed lots of growth from fall to winter! Great job, TRIBE members!
It's been quite the week at SGS! The Grinch snuck in the building, stole items, and left clues scattered throughout the school. After a school-wide hunt, Officer Tiffany tracked him down and placed him under arrest on Tuesday.
But the story didn't end there! On Wednesday, the Grinch escaped from the Haskell County Jail!
Thankfully, the holiday spirit won out! The Grinch had a change of heart, returned everything he stole, and was forgiven by Santa and the SGS students--just in time for Christmas! 🎄
SGS celebrated a day of perfect attendance and meeting building-wide goals with a dance party and a yummy treat!
