
KAY Club is sponsoring a spa day for grade school students on May 2 from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at SHS.


April 17 is a half day for students. Lunch will be served. Students will be dismissed at noon.

USD 507 is accepting applications for 3-year-old preschool for the 2024-25 school year. Priority will be given to students who meet the criteria for the Kansas At-Risk preschool program, and spots for 3 year olds will only open up if the 4-year-old preschool program is not full. USD 507 PreK and Kindergarten Round-Up will be held Monday, April 29 in the Satanta Grade School gym. Students will have the chance to meet teachers and visit classrooms while parents complete enrollment paperwork. Round-Up for students entering PreK will begin at 5 p.m. with Kindergarten Round-Up at 6 p.m. Please complete this form if you have an incoming PreK or Kindergarten student.

Congratulations to the SGS and SJH students who competed at the SPIAA math contest today. Dylan placed 7th in mental math; Avery placed 8th in geometry and mental math; and Lauren placed 10th in mental math. Way to go, mathematicians!

KAY Club put on an Easter Egg Hunt for the grade school students today!


In 3rd grade Social Studies, students have been talking about American Government, the different roles, and the importance of laws. Thank you Officer Tiffany for coming in and letting our students ask you questions about your very important role.


Due to potentially slick road conditions, USD 507 will have a two-hour delay tomorrow (March 26). Classes will begin at 10 a.m.

Congratulations to 4th grader Grayson Enns, who represented Haskell County at the Sunflower State Spelling Bee. He competed through several rounds and was among the top 25 contestants! Way to go, Grayson!


On Wednesday, March 27, Satanta High School will host the SPIAA League Forensics Tournament. There will be no school for students in grades 6-12. Satanta Grade School will be in session as usual.


Support shirts for Silas Wood are available for purchase. Due to a generous donation, each Satanta Grade School student will receive a free t-shirt. Should you desire to buy extra "Silas Strong" shirts, priced at $20.00 each, the production cost of each shirt has also been covered, and all proceeds from these shirt sales will directly contribute to supporting Silas Wood's family with their travel and treatment expenses. Payments can be made upon pickup at the Satanta District Office.
