We had a beautiful day for our Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you to everyone who made it possible--the cooks, the custodians, the bus drivers, the teachers, and all the other staff who took on extra duties to make this happen. Our school board members helped serve the meal, and our 4th and 5th graders helped set up and carry meals. Thank you to all the families who joined us today!

SGS 5th graders have organized a study period when 5th graders are available to help younger students with their school work. This idea originated with the 5th graders. They wrote and presented a proposal and organized the project. Way to go, 5th graders!

Families are invited to the USD 507 Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to noon. Please pre-purchase tickets for non-students for $5 per plate in the SGS office. Serving will begin at 11 a.m. with kindergarten, moving up through the grades every 5 minutes. If you plan to eat a specific time, please let us know. Junior high and high school students will be bussed over to eat at the grade school at 11:40. Parents may make arrangements with the SHS office to pick up older students so that the family can eat with younger siblings.

Please join us for a holiday concert on November 28 at 7 p.m. in the Satanta High School auditorium.
