
SHS Mini-Cheer!


Satanta High School Student Council is looking for small projects that need to be done around the community. We have about a 2.5 hour period available on Friday, September 30. We will start that morning around 8:30 a.m. Please submit your ideas (or request assistance) by contacting Tim Dusin at tdusin@usd507.org.

We continue to be awed by the support of our community! We've now placed a FOURTH order for signs. If you'd like one, please message Ryan Burrows, our TRIBE chairperson.


Interested in working either full or part-time as a speech and language paraprofessional serving the Satanta and Moscow districts? Now's your chance to join our teams! The right applicant will start at $12/hr. plus mileage. Contact Cayla Fraley at Satanta Elementary for details: 620-649-2612.


Thank you for all the community support for our new daycare! We received our permanent license this morning.


Our KAY organization is working to provide meals for teams for away games on an as-needed basis. If you’d to support this project monetarily, please contact Crystal Naylor at Satanta High School.


Wednesday, September 14 is a half day for students. We will dismiss at noon. Lunch will be served.

We had a great time celebrating our grandparents and honorary grandparents at our grade school program this morning and the LTCU this afternoon! We are grateful for all the wonderful role models in our students’ lives.

Satanta FCCLA is serving a taco salad meal at Friday’s game, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meal will include a taco salad, homemade rice, cake, and bottled water for $8.

Satanta National Honor Society will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Satanta United Methodist Church.

Congratulations to Kace Wenta who ran his first cross-country race last Thursday. He was first among all sixth-grade runners and placed fourth in the seventh-grade division with a one-mile time of 6:47.
