We’ve had a great week with Artist in Residence Kim Brook, thanks to a grant written by the Satanta Area Arts Council. Kim taught daily art classes to grade school students. Check out displays of their work on Monday during the Thanksgiving dinner. She also led a Korean cooking class and a class for teachers on integrating art into the classroom. We will miss Kim, and we’re looking forward to seeing her again in March when she’ll be back for another week.

Our Thanksgiving Dinner is Monday, November 21. Please prepurchase tickets for guests in the GS office for $5 each. We will open the front doors at 11:15. Serving will begin with kindergarten, but we will pull students from other grades so that families can eat together. If you plan to arrive at a specific time, please let classroom teachers know.

Thank you to the Satanta Lions Club and Sublette Rotary for providing books for our 1st and 3rd graders!
