Thank you to WinField United for the donation of school supplies!

Satanta FCCLA is in our nation’s capital for National FCCLA!
The organization is represented by faculty leader Erika Alexander and Satanta High School student Clayton Kunselman.
Getting to Washington, D.C., was an adventure, including a 5:00 a.m. flight out of Tulsa and a little extra excitement as they worked to find a flight—but they made it!
After arriving at the convention center, Clayton competed in Challenge Testing, where he completed three different tests and felt like he did fairly well. This was a new experience for Satanta FCCLA, so they were not sure exactly how to prepare, but Clayton was willing to step up and try something different.
The day ended with the opening session, which gave a nod to 1776 with a Revolutionary War drum and fife band. It has been a fun couple of days seeing the sights of D.C., even if mostly from a distance, and joining nearly 10,000 other FCCLA members from across the country.

Satanta High School is deeply grateful to all who honored the life of Daniel Lee Garcia by contributing to the memorial established in his name. Please spread the word! Due to the continued strong polyurethane fumes, tonight’s weights session has been canceled and we will have open gym only at regular times tonight and tomorrow morning.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we put the safety of our student-athletes first. We should be able to fully resume Summer Grind on Monday and get back on schedule.

Important update regarding tomorrow’s Summer Grind sessions. Please see the graphic below for details and help spread the word to any students interested in participating.
Please note that this plan is not final. If conditions do not improve, we will move to open gym only tomorrow evening and Friday morning, then plan to resume weights on Monday.

We had a successful Day 1 of the Satanta Junior Golf Camp! Our junior golfers spent the day learning proper putting etiquette and developing their putting form. We look forward to a fun and productive week as our young golfers continue to learn and improve their skills on the course!

Reminder that Summer Grind 2026 starts TOMORROW MORNING. The new gym floor is also getting worked on this week so all students will need to enter through Mr. Tegeler's classroom until the floor is complete.
