USD 507 2025-26 School Calendar

Deacon Hockett is spending the week at Dodge City Community College this week, with over 100 other band members, preparing for the 52nd annual Kansas Shrine Bowl!
Deacon is one of only 6 snare drum performers selected from the whole state to play in the Marching Band!
Since 1974, the Kansas Shrine Bowl has donated over $4 million to the Shriners Children's Hospitals which have a world-renowned healthcare system with hospitals, outpatient clinics, ambulatory care centers, and outreach locations across the globe.
Come and watch the East vs. the West this Saturday in Dodge City and look for Deacon who is 'marching to the beat of his drum'! It's also available to watch online if you can't make it to Dodge this weekend.

Due to unforseen circustances, the car wash that was scheduled for today has been moved to July 12.

Looking for a way to stay in shape over the summer or get ready for fall sports? Here is an easy plan for summer running. Remember to log your miles on Strava in the Satanta Indians Summer Running Club! https://docs.google.com/document/d/14BXiJkc853ia4ZZM72f8--shZhsmFOxd6I9oEI8GVr0/edit?usp=drivesdk

Congratulations to our state track athletes! Cameron placed 3rd in javelin, and Isaiah placed 4th in long jump. We are proud of you!

REMINDER:
Summer workouts are beginning on Monday (the 2nd). In order to get the incentives you MUST show up on time. If you are not there at the start time for your group you will be marked as a "miss" for that day. Even if for example you are only 1-5 minutes late. If you cannot make it to the morning session then the student will have the option to join Coach Brockett's session in the evening. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO BOTH. The evening session is ONLY for the ones who want to workout but did not make the morning session. The evening session will not be split into sections like the morning groups. It will be for ALL 6-12 students at one time. Show up on time, work hard, and let's make this a great summer pushing each other to get better -- as one strong Indian Nation!
