Students in the Marketing Applications class are creating recap videos to highlight our sports seasons. If you’d like to submit a video of your athlete (credit will be given), please send video submissions to
cdunn@usd507.org or message Courtney Dunn through the USD 507 app. The final recap videos will be less than 60 seconds, so please understand that while we truly appreciate all submissions, not all videos may be used. Thanks for the support!

Today, the USD 507 Care Closet received a $2,500 check from Cobalt Cattle in support of Satanta High School’s efforts to ensure that every USD 507 student has what he or she needs to be successful, including nutritional support, hygiene items, clothing, and—when needed—athletic shoes and other equipment through our SPEAR (Students Providing Educational and Athletic Relief) program. SPEAR is designed to ensure that no student ever feels unable to participate in an extracurricular sport or activity because of financial constraints.
We sincerely thank Cobalt Cattle for their generosity and support of our students and community, and we are committed to using these funds responsibly to benefit the students and families we serve.
Thank you, Cobalt Cattle!

Which flavor(s) would you try?
Students in Marketing I completed an extension project where they redesigned product packaging for EXTRA gum, creating their own unique flavor concepts. The project allowed them to apply branding, target market analysis, and design principles to develop original packaging ideas.

In Mr. Tegeler’s Junior High PE and Freshman PE, students recently completed max-outs on Bench and Squat. With no previous weight room records available, these students are now the NEW official school record holders for their grade level and lift. We are extremely proud of our Freshman and Junior High students for their effort and hard work. The max-outs these past few weeks showed impressive numbers at such a young age, and it’s clear we’re building a strong foundation for the future. Stay tuned for pictures of the brand-new 6th–9th Grade and High School Top 5 Record Boards, soon to be hung in the weight room!
How the 6th–9th Grade Record Board Works: Records stay with the grade level where they were earned. If a student breaks a record, their name stays on that grade’s board until someone beats it, even as they move up. A student could earn spots on all four grade-level Top 5 boards.
Freshman Top 5 Board: Freshmen lift twice a week since they also attend health class twice a week. Because of this schedule, they’ll have their own Freshman Top 5 while still being eligible for the overall High School Top 5.
Congratulations to freshman Melissa Chavez — the Freshman Girls Squat Record Holder and now #5 ALL-TIME in Girls High School Squat (230 lbs).
Another congratulations goes to freshman Harley Heatherman, the Freshman Girls Bench Record Holder and now tied for 3rd ALL-TIME in Girls High School Bench (105 lbs).
