The Satanta High School English I class recently completed a study of photojournalism that focused on the photographic work of Dorothea Lange, Edward Curtis, Matthew Brady, Charles Moore, and Richard Drew. Upon completion of the unit, students were divided into small collaborative groups in which they worked on exploring the lives and work of one of these photographers in depth. The result of their work was publication of biographical booklets, which include information on the photographers as well as descriptions of some of their most famous work. These booklets will soon be on display at the Dudley Township Public Library (Satanta). They can be viewed here as well. We are proud of the work they put into these projects!
