Important information for fall sports athletes:
HS & JH football parent meetings: Friday, 8-11, 6:45 p.m.
HS volleyball athlete meeting: Friday, 8-11, 1 p.m. Practice begins 8-14.
Cross country practice begins Monday, 8-14 at 6 a.m. at the HS track.
JH volleyball optional skills workouts 8-15 & 8-17 at 3:45, practice begins 8-21.
Any athlete who has not previously participated in Satanta athletics must complete a concussion screening. New cross country runners & HS volleyball players, please bring a phone to practice on Monday. New JH volleyball players, please bring a phone to practice on 8-15.
Athletes who have previously played Satanta sports do not need to be screened.

Join us for a Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 19, from 9 to 10:30. The event will kick off with a family walk around the grade school starting at the flag pole by the cafeteria parking lot. After the family walk, we'll have a clothing exchange, kids' games, and a car seat safety demonstration.
Organizations wishing to help with an activity or set up an informational booth can contact Karen Burrows (kburrows@usd507.org) or Stacey King (sking@usd507.org).
We are still accepting donations of new or gently used kids' clothing (all ages), backpacks, shoes, athletic equipment, etc. While the food program is in session, donations can be dropped off during breakfast and lunch at SGS. During the week of July 31-August 4, donations can be dropped off in the SGS office between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.


Great group of runners this morning! All Satanta athletes are invited to run Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7.


The Council for Educational Travel is looking for host families for foreign exchange students for the upcoming school year. You can earn a $200 referral fee as a new host family. Come join our tribe! High Plains Educational Cooperative is hiring a special education paraprofessional to work at Satanta Jr. Sr. High School. Starting pay is $13 per hour.
