Our students are diligently working on getting an extra classroom at SHS converted into the USD 507 Care Closet. They are currently in need of clothing hangers. If you have extra hangers, please drop them off at Satanta High School. Kindly refrain from donating clothing and shoes at this time. We currently have more than we can handle! In time, we'll need donations of personal care items and ready-to-eat non-perishable foods to re-stock our space. Thank you for continued support!

Satanta High School National Honor Society will induct six new members on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. These new members, Kassady Lazar, Eva Loewen, Morgan Pendergraft, Mia Burrows, Edgar Najera, and Montae Sowers were selected by a faculty panel for membership. Their selection was based on the maintenance of a 3.5+ cumulative grade-point average; the submission of a resume with references; and the creation of a prospective-member essay.
All members of Satanta NHS are invited to bring their family and friends to the induction ceremony, which will feature guest speaker Rev. Kyle Woodrow who is the current pastor at both the Montezuma and Sublette United Methodist Churches.
A banquet catered by the USD 507 food service staff will follow the ceremony. This meal will be complimentary for all members and the guest speaker. All others are asked to RSVP and pre-pay $5 per person to help defray the cost of the evening's meal, which is being sponsored, in part, by the Satanta S-Club. Members of the USD 507 faculty, staff, and board of education are also invited to attend with the same arrangements listed above. Kindly RSVP by Friday, October 25.
Please join us in celebrating the success of these students!
