We are celebrating our amazing teachers at SGS! This week, we are celebrating Mrs. Rubio, our preschool teacher. Mrs. Rubio is patient and kind with students, and she comes up with lots of fun ways for students to learn!

SHS pictures are Tuesday, September 24. SGS pictures are Wednesday, September 25.
We will take individual pictures of all students as well as class pictures.

Picture Day at the Junior Senior High School has been moved to Tuesday, September 24. Grade School pictures are still Wednesday, September 25.

Satanta is a part of the State Program SAFE, which stands for Seatbelts Are For Everyone. SAFE is a student-led program that encourages students and staff to make the "Safe" choice and wear seatbelts. A few students stood outside this morning and tracked the number of people who were seatbelts versus not wearing seatbelts. Be on the lookout to see more activities students will be participating in through the SAFE Program and through STUCO.

Silas dropped off pop tab donations at the Ronald McDonald House. Thanks for your donations! We will continue to collect pop tabs at SGS throughout the year.

Satanta Jr. - Sr. High School Spirit Week Days, Homecoming 2024

SGS Spirit Week. Please note these are slightly different from the SHS days.

Fall Homecoming Week begins Monday, September 23!

Please consider contributing to this worthy cause!

We believe all students are leaders! Help us begin our Leader in Me journey by taking our family survey. If you have students at SGS, please use this link: https://www.leaderinme.com/s/satanta-grade-school/families. If you have students at SHS, please use this link: https://www.leaderinme.com/s/satanta-jr-sr-high-school/families If you have more than one student, please take the survey for each student. Students will also take a leadership self-assessment. You can view the questions here: https://www.usd507.org/page/administration-of-non-academic-surveys Thank you for helping us grow our students and improve our schools!

September 18 is a half day. Students will be dismissed at noon. Lunch will be served.

Just 8 of the 18 appointments for our Wednesday, September 25 National Honor Society/American Red Cross Blood Drive have been filled. Please consider scheduling your donation today by visiting www.redcross.org or contact NHS sponsor Ryan Burrows at rburrows@usd507.org or 620-649-7167. The bulk of the remaining appointments lie between 9 am and 1 pm.

Admission to the HS FB game at Meade on Friday is free with a donation to the Meade food bank. Kickoff for the game is 7 p.m.

We have a busy week ahead! Get your green & gold ready!
