Congratulations to these Satanta High School students whose work earned recognition in the SPIAA Big Read Competition!
Their work will be on display at the SPIAA League Basketball Tournament at United Wireless Arena in Dodge City beginning Monday, January 22. Awards and announcements of final placing will take place on Saturday, January 27 between the boys' and girls' championship games.

Mark your calendars for the SGS Spelling Bee on Tuesday, January 30, at 2:30 p.m. in the SGS gym. Families are invited to attend. Class bees will be held January 24 to determine school bee participants.


SGS will host a book fair in February, and we'd love for each child to be able to purchase a book. We're looking for "book fairies" to sponsor the purchase of a books. To support this project, you can donate to PTO in the SGS office or USD 507 central office; Venmo @SatantaPTO507; or donate through the Scholatic e-wallet (the link will drop next week).
We have 122 students, and we'd like to allow each student to choose a book between $5 and $7. Thanks for supporting our students!
