Based on predictions of wind and snow, we have decided to cancel school for tomorrow, February 15. Because blowing snow is predicted for dismissal time, we believe it is safer to keep students at home rather than risk sending them home in unsafe conditions. This decision was made after discussion with area school superintendents. Stay safe and warm!

With Valentine's Day approaching, I would like to remind families of the SGS policy regarding deliveries at school. We do not accept deliveries of presents, flowers, balloons, etc. at school.
Students who wish to distribute valentines should bring enough for their entire class. Teachers will send home class lists. Organizations or community members wishing to distribute valentines or gifts should plan to distribute the same item to all SGS students (122 students).
Thanks for helping us avoid chaos in the office and tears in the classroom!

We are excited to announce that Satanta has been chosen as a host city for BAK for June 10. Stay tuned for more details!
