Kansas Day is Wednesday, January 29. Satanta Grade School students, wear a Kansas shirt to school--it could be a Kansas team, school, or place in Kansas. Remember, Satanta is in Kansas, so your TRIBE shirt works!

Today's Care Closet Open House was a success! Both NHS and FCCLA members were in attendance, as were their sponsors, Ryan Burrows and Erika Alexander. We have significantly reduced our stockpile of clothing and created a list of needed items based on what we were able to give away today. For example, there is a high demand for children's clothing, which we have very little of, and we could use more of the types of clothing our tweens and teens prefer: hoodies, sweatpants, and t-shirts. Satanta apparel remains a fan favorite! Additionally, we have given away most of our shoes. Please consider donating these items. We are now ready to accept donations of personal hygiene items, including soap, shampoo, deodorant, and toothpaste. Finally, we are planning to host a Prom Shop Open House in the near future to help ensure every student who attends prom does so with confidence. We would love to receive your gently used dresses, formal shoes, and jewelry. If you need to set up a donation drop-off time outside of regular school hours, please contact the office at 620-649-2611.
