Our Scholastic Book Fair starts next week! The book fair will be open during the school day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It will also be open after school on Tuesday until 5:30 (when Spring Literacy Night begins). The book fair will be open Thursday during the day.
Every student will be able to pick out a free book on Monday. If you would like your child to purchase additional books, you can accompany your child to make the purchase, load money onto an eWallet (https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/content/fairs/how-ewallet-works.html?fairId=5477359), or send cash. Please let your child's classroom teacher know if you are sending cash.

Congratulations to our Haskell County Spelling Bee participants and winners. Grayson Enns placed 1st, Myah Fairchild 2nd, and Nicol Arias 3rd. Grayson will represent Haskell County at the Sunflower State Spelling Bee in March.

Tuesday, February 6 will be the 100th day of school at SGS. To celebrate, dress like you're 100 years old!


The USD 507 Board of Education will hold a special meeting for the purpose of board training on Monday, February 5, at 6 p.m.


Donuts with Grownups will be held Wednesday, February 14, from 7:35 to 8:05 a.m. in the SGS cafeteria. Each SGS student may bring one adult for free. All SGS students and younger siblings will be free. Additional adult meals may be purchased for $2. (Tickets will be available for prepurchase in the SGS office, or you can pay that morning. Exact change appreciated.)


Congratulations to our spelling bee winners and participants! Grayson placed 1st, Myah 2nd, and Nicol 3rd. They will represent SGS at the Haskell County Spelling Bee on February 8 at 10 a.m. in the SHS auditorium. Avery is the alternate. Great job, spellers!




The Haskell County Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, February 8, at 10 a.m. in the Satanta High School Auditorium. Refreshments for the competitors and their families will be served following the bee.
