Satanta Jr./Sr. High School

We had a successful Day 1 of the Satanta Junior Golf Camp! Our junior golfers spent the day learning proper putting etiquette and developing their putting form. We look forward to a fun and productive week as our young golfers continue to learn and improve their skills on the course!

Reminder that Summer Grind 2026 starts TOMORROW MORNING. The new gym floor is also getting worked on this week so all students will need to enter through Mr. Tegeler's classroom until the floor is complete. We look forward to seeing everyone and strive to get better together throughout the summer!

The USD 507 Board Room has moved to Satanta Grade School, Room 117 (the room closest to the 5th grade exit). You can enter through the 5th grade doors (by the playground) or through the front doors. The policy committee will meet at 6 p.m., followed by the board meeting at 7 p.m.

School just got out, but we're already planning for school supplies for next year! Thanks to generous donations, the community of Satanta has provided free school supplies for ALL USD 507 students since 2012. Donations can be made to Satanta PTO/FOKS (For Our Kids' Sake) and mailed to PO Box 129 or dropped off at Satanta Grade School. We're thankful for our supportive community!

Congratulations to Edgar Najera, who placed 8th in the 1600 at state with a time of 4:44.19!

Congratulations to Cameron Ross, who placed 3rd in javelin at the state track with a throw of 138-3!

Did you know that during USD 507 Summer Meal Program, you can shop for gently used clothing and personal hygiene items in the Satanta Elementary School gym? This service is offered during breakfast (8 a.m to 9 a.m.) and lunch (11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.). All items are free!

It’s State Meet Day for Cam and Edgar! They wrap things up for Satanta today with Cam throwing at 9:45 AM and Edgar running at 2:10 PM. Best of luck to both athletes as they compete on the biggest stage — go make some noise and bring home some hardware!

Erik shoots an 89 in his final round at the State Tournament to finish T33 out of 92 total golfers who qualified for state. While it may not have been the ending we hoped for, we couldn’t be more proud of Erik and the historic season he put together. Competing at state is a huge accomplishment, and we’re excited to see what he’ll achieve during his senior season. Once again, congratulations on a great season Erik!

🚨 STATE GOLF UPDATE 🚨 Erik shoots an 87 in Round 1 of the 1A State Golf Tournament which puts him right on the cut line to qualify for Day 2! We are still waiting to hear his tee time for tomorrow, but this is already a huge accomplishment for Erik in his first ever trip to State in golf!

This is the final week to sign up for the Satanta Junior Golf Camp, as the registration deadline is May 30th! This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to the game of golf — a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime — or to help them continue improving their skills.
