3200 M Run starts at 3:45 PM
Finals start at 4:15 PM

Results from the High School golf tournament in Lakin. We saw strong improvement across the board compared to our first meet of the season last week. The work is paying off, and we’re continuing to move in the right direction.

State FCCLA has begun and Gissell and Mackenzie presented their STAR events today. We are so proud of these students and their STAR events, which center on service to the community!

It’s Meet Day for our High School boys golf team! They hit the road to Lakin Municipal Golf Course for the Lakin High School Boys Golf Invitational, with a 1:00 PM shotgun start. Head over to Lakin and support our golfers!

The Satanta High School Forensics Team competed at Ashland on Saturday. With just six team members present, the team captured third place overall and added five new events to the list of state qualifiers: Deacon Hockett: Extemporaneous Speaking and Original Oration Dylan Doerksen: Serious Solo Acting Melissa Chavez: Program of Oral Interpretation Clayton Kunselman: Extemporaneous Speaking

It's Gameday for our Haskell County softball team! They are back defending home field against Ness City with first pitch set for 4:00 PM and the second game starting approximately 15 minutes after the first. Come out and support our softball girls as they compete on the diamond!

FFA students competed last week in food science and meat judging at GCCC.

Congratulations to the 5th, 6th, and 7th graders who attended the league math contest! Three of our competitors earned medals: Gabe- 8th Place in 7th Grade Geometry Grayson- 3rd Place in 6th Grade Mental Math and 9th Place in 6th Grade Geometry Rylie- 8th Place in 5th Grade Geometry
