Satanta National Honor Society is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Satanta High School.

USD 507 PreK and Kindergarten Round Up will be held Thursday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the SGS gym. This is an opportunity for incoming 3 and 4 year old preschoolers as well as kindergarteners to submit enrollment paperwork, visit classrooms, and meet teachers.

SGS STEM Fair--3rd, 4th, and 5th graders created STEM activities for the kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students. We built bridges, spinners, castles, parachutes, helicopters, fences, and tops!











Due to the rescheduled junior high quiz bowl meet, the USD 507 Board of Education meeting has been moved to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10.


Mark your calendars for SGS spring pictures on April 9. We will take class pictures , individual spring pictures, and fall retakes.


March 5 is a half day. Students will be dismissed at noon. Lunch will be served.

After reading Esperanza Rising, 5th graders made yarn dolls.






What a beautiful day to learn outside! Third graders traced dinosaur shadows in the sun.








2nd and 3rd graders created an 8 hole mini golf course for 2nd-5th to play today! 4th and 5th graders created box fooseball tables this week as well.









Third graders have been learning about shadows and light.











This week we are celebrating Mrs. Howie, our reading interventionist, data queen, runner of meetings, and bringer of the best snacks in the world!
