Tomorrow's JH VB and FB games have been moved back due to heat concerns from KSHSAA. The B team VB game will begin at 4:30, the A team game will begin at 5:30, and the JH FB game will begin at 7:30 pm.

The treadmill is overall in great shape, and the incline function works properly. Please note that it has had some issues in the past. It has occasionally shut off randomly when increasing the speed beyond a certain point. If the speed is increased past that point, it may eventually shut off.

Come out and support our volleyball girls as they kick off the fall sports season and look to set the tone for what’s to come for Satanta High School Athletics this year!

It’s Jamboree Day for our High School football team! They host Deerfield and Moscow tonight with a 7:00 PM start time. Come out and get a first look at our football team as they take the field and get ready for the regular season, which kicks off next week!

TREADMILL FOR SALE!
We are selling the treadmill currently located in our weight room for $300.

Satanta Jr.-Sr. High School will host a Fall Sports Preview on Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the football stadium. Members of all fall sports teams (junior high and high school) will be announced: football, volleyball, cross country, and cheer.
Following this recognition, students and their families are invited to stay for a hamburger and hot dog meal, slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. This meal will be a freewill donation event with the minimum suggested donation per meal being $5. All funds will go toward the KAY Fuel Our Athletes Fund, which supplies food for away games for our athletic teams.
We kindly ask that adult attendees be allowed to eat first.
If you can't be in attendance but would like to contribute the Fuel Our Athletes program, financial contributions can be mailed to KAY sponsor, Ashton Wenta, at Satanta High School, PO Box 69, Satanta, KS 67870.

The Chieftain staff began the process of handing out yearbooks today. Some were returned by honest students who said that they had already picked up their copy at enrollment. If you or your student, by chance, got two copies of the yearbook instead of one, kindly return your extra copy to school that we can ensure that everyone who ordered one will receive it.
