It’s Meet Day for our High School boys golf team! They travel to Cheyenne Hills Golf Course in Jetmore for the Hodgeman County High School Varsity Golf Meet. Head over to Jetmore and support our golfers as they compete out on the links!

It’s Gameday for our Haskell County softball team! They’re back defending home field here in Satanta against the Ulysses Tigers. JV first pitch is set for 2:30 PM, varsity will follow at 4:00 PM, with game two starting approximately 15 minutes after the first. Come out, pack the stands, and cheer on our girls as they compete on the diamond!

Satanta FCCLA members participated in the State Leadership Conference in Wichita earlier this week, and they represented our school with excellence! 🏅 Mackenzie York received a Silver Medal for her Hygiene Heroes project. 🏅 Gissell Rubio received a Silver Medal for her Christmas Around Town project. ⭐ Gissell Rubio and Deacon Hockett proudly represented Satanta as District F Officers. ⭐ Clayton Kunselman served as a STAR Event judge alongside Mrs. Soto. 🏅 Melissa Chavez and Makennan Kraemer each earned a Red Ribbon, the highest ribbon awarded, for their LEO boards. In addition, thanks to the support of our student body, our chapter and school completed more than 500 hours of community service during the fall semester and received the Platinum State Community Service Award! Congratulations to all of our FCCLA members on an outstanding year. We are proud of all you have accomplished!

Change in schedule for the high school track meet at Spearville on Friday, April 17. Field events now begin at 1 p.m. Running events begin at 3 p.m.

Results from the High School golf tournament in Lakin. We saw strong improvement across the board compared to our first meet of the season last week. The work is paying off, and we’re continuing to move in the right direction.

State FCCLA has begun and Gissell and Mackenzie presented their STAR events today. We are so proud of these students and their STAR events, which center on service to the community!
